AP Programs

The Advanced Placement or AP Exams are a series of standardized tests that give the student an opportunity to earn college credits while still in high school. There are many type of AP exams each covering a specific subject such as Calculus, Biology, and even Art History. These exams are often offered alongside a respective course in the student’s high school. The AP courses offered in High Schools are modeled after actual college courses, reflecting both their course workloads and degree of difficulty. The exam is based off of a 5 point scale with 1 being lowest and 5 being the highest scores.

AP credits are accepted by colleges throughout the US including the famous Ivy League schools. Also, students who have taken these exams are highly desired by competitive colleges due to the difficulty and competititive nature of the AP programs.
